He is Risen! Rejoice!

Here we go, as promised...my pictures you requested.

*Therese- Her skit never survived the first wash cycle last month, it shrunk (a first for me!) and now fits her moo cow :( *

What I am currently reading.(Yes, I find time to read)

What I am working on- Pink fabric is Averys curtains, the rest is burp rags I am making for my niece who is due in June along with a crib toy holder. Works in progress, I haven't been sewing too long so we shall see, I love it though!

Childhood Relic- My first Teddy Bear, his name is Teddy Rucksle and he has been patched up a number of times. Avery now claims him.

Something Texan.  :)

Umbrellas, take your pick.

What I had for dinner last night, Taco Bueno and sweet leaf sweet tea (new addiction) and this was split between Evan, myself and Avery.

I'm adding one more to since tomorrow is Easter

These are the 2 dresses we have narrowed down for church. My friend val sent us the white and polka dot one, it's 24months and does fit Avery but is a little baggy. The blue one we found at The Childrens Place for only 10$!!! and we love because Yellow seems to be Averys color.  Not sure which one to go with, we bought 5 dresses and I ended up returning them the next day, Evan and I are too picky for her HAHA.

and with that, I'll end with my favorite Hymnal which is very fitting for Easter.
Blessings and LOVE.

He Lives

I serve a risen Saviour; He's in the world today.

I know that He is living, whatever men may say.

I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,

And just the time I need Him He's always near.

He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!

He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.

He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!

You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.

In all the world around me I see His loving care,

And though my heart grows weary I never will despair.

I know that He is leading, thro' all the stormy blast;

The day of His appearing will come at last.

Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian! Lift up your voice and sing

Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!

The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find,

None other is so loving, so good and kind.

  1. Love the pics. Harper's special color is yellow too! It looks lovely with her creamy skin (has olive pink and olive undertones). She has darker skin than me, and that's why it looks great in yellow!!

Harper wore a white and yellow Easter dress I got at Ross for $7. It was the steal of the century. It had yellow gingham trim and white with little yellow, blue and black print flowers. It was so adorable!! I'll have to share some pics!

Hope ya'll had a happy Easter!
