Picture Post Game

I tried this on my Xanga blog many, many moons ago and found it to be a fun little thing to do with my fellow bloggers and devoted readers.....well, I'll pretend I have those anyway.

It's EASY. All you have to do is tell me what you want to see and after a few days I'll collect all the comments, go and take snapshots of requested things and then post them as my blog.

When I did this on Xanga I had to take pictures of my favorite shoes, my place to relax, the contents of my fridge, my wedding ring, my cell phone and my favorite family photo just to give you guys and gals some ideas...it's really fun and I recommend you all give it a try.

So, think of some creative things and Monday(if I have enough requests), I'll go and start taking my pictures to post.

With that, I will leave you guys with the latest Avery pic taken just before she went to bed tonight. She got some new clothes from her Great Oma in Colorado last week and here are the new Pj's....How cute is she?! Also, her hair is trying to turn RED....RED! I have 2 siblings with beautiful Red hair but they don't have my sister and I's beautiful blue eyes like Avery has...might be interesting to see her with red hair and bright blue eyes...not like Evan has enough to worry about...haha.

I'm thinking she'll be a strawberry blonde...

Have a Great Sunday!

Happy Birthday Evan.

My Sweet Husband Turns 26 On Sunday.

(It just dawned on me the majority of the pics I have are after Avery was born, hmm need to find some OLD pics of him soon.)

To Evan-
Happy 26th Birthday!
After 10 years of being in each others lives I am so proud of the man you have become.....from the shy high school guy I fell in love with in Mr. Hayes Pre-Ap Chem class, to the lanky college guy who drove his "Hannah BRH" in the rain singing U2 and locking me inside until I gave you a kiss, then the guy I swore to all my friends that after 4 years of waiting on was finally with me and was "the one", to the handsome man who I saw when the chapel doors opened and we said vows together to be man and wife, to the newlywed who ate all my burnt dinners and still told me they were delicious, the HERO who unashamed and proud went to the store at 1am for tampons and gladly told the other guy behind the register he had no problem picking them up for his wife (and some chocolate too!), to the tired Architect major who even after a 90 hour project and part time job found time to do little things for me to let me know I was still #1, to the heart broken man who shed so many tears and made all the painful calls during our miscarriage and got me back on my feet, to the man a year later, looking radiant and holding a newborn baby girl and getting the name Daddy, to the man who now doesn't look at all like he did in high school or college but still gives me butterflies on occasion and makes me melt by watching him with his daughter.....

You've come a long way.

I love you so very much and hope you know you're only getting better as you get older on so many levels.
Here's to 10 more years of changes together.

I feel Brand New.

This week has been so much fun and yet I haven't done much at all it seems.

My birthday was on monday. The Big 25, do not ask me how I feel about this like so many people have. I feel normal, no changes, I'm still me, no wrinkles or gray..welll okay I am starting to get white hairs but they don't scare me...yet. I for some reason in the past 3 years have just written off birthday celebrating. I used to be a big believer in getting friends together for dinner and bowling and drinks but it suddenly just lost the appeal for me, which has upset Evan. So needless to say he was not happy with me when I treated monday as....a monday, instead of my birthday.

I did what I wanted to...lounged in my pj's on a very cold and rainy day and played with Avery until Evan came home. Then we went off to Boston Market for my birthday dinner through the drive thru, picked up movies and had a picnic on the living room floor. What's so wrong with that?

So to please Evan about not doing anything exciting for my birthday I spent my afternoon getting pampered. Evan came to Denton and picked up Avery from MDO and I went and got my hair done by my great friend Christina at Davanti Salon. Cut a lot off too! I'm thinking about going shorter, mixing it up and living a litle...it's just hair, it grows back, why not play with it? I also got it colored a cool "mahogony" color but in the light it looks reddish-purple, which is sooo up my alley. I love it truthfully, the color is awesome and the cut, although will now be adding 20 minutes to my morning if I chose to actually do something with it was daring for me.

After that I put my Christmas gift from Avery to good use and went to Spa Pedicure and got a very much needed and deserved mani-pedi. The last time I had either was the day before Avery was born....you do the math!

I am just fresh shaved legs away from being a brand new woman. New hair, lavender finger nails, black toe nails, cool chic hair color and fresh atitude.

And all on a Thursday.
