That is my current mood right now.

I feel lame about a plethora of things tonight and yet I have had an exciting and busy day today so what gives?! Blah to that,this,whatever..

Avery is yet again trying to worry her parents to death. She had a great week, saying new things, feeding herself, even helping me around the house and then suddenly she woke us up around 1am on Thursday morning screaming her head off and fighting a fever. Turns out my little over-achiever cut FOUR teeth at once and since she has hid her teething tablets, did it cold turkey. OUCH.

I knew she was miserable on Thursday, I stayed home from work with her and she literally slept on and off all day in my arms because, like her daddy, when she is sick she is clingy. Friday she seemd better, wasn't eating much and the previous night we learned she couldn't keep much down. Still had a fever, nothing motrin wasn't keeping under 101.2 when after a 3 hour nap (RARE) I went to check on her and she  hurt to touch...SHE WAS THAT HOT!

I took her temperature and immedietely took it again because there was NO WAY she was 105.1!!! WRONG, I took it 3 times and the lowest it went down to was 104.9 so I called the dr. and we went in 30 minutes later.

Yeeeaaaahhhhh....her appointment was at 2:50 we left there at 5:45! After blood work, swabs, chest x-ray, cool cloth compresses, tylenol at a larger strength, urine samples and  lots of tears (non came actually, she was dehydrated) and fighting for her life it seemed (she hates going to the dr. wonder why?! She fights the nurses).

Turns out those 4 pesky, painful teeth also triggered a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Poor girl, can't catch a break. She's doing better today, still not much energy or appetite and she had a fever on and off. When Avery gets sick, she crashes hard!

We were planning on going to the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival today but she's not up to it, maybe tomorrow. I hope so, we really want to go and with Evans parents a quick walk to the event and hearing some of the music here if the wind blows just right....makes the want bigger. :)

I'm blabbing too much about Avery as usual so I'll stop for now. I hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather, it's been so nice outside!!!

Well....*poof* there went my blog.

I had intended to update today but it has rained nonstop for over 24 hours here and I am in that "rain fog" mind set. Tired and mellow and all over relaxed as I sit here and listen to it patter on Nan and Garys roof.
Loving it.

I'm re-reading The Twilight Saga. I'm back to the last book Breaking Dawn. I needed escapism and I got it all week before bed. I read way too fast and way too much, I mean, 4 books in 8 days? I need new books to read, anyone have a good title?

I will be the first to admit, I do not do too well with whiny people. Not so much as whining in general but especially if someone is ill and they do nothing to fix it but whine over and over about how "I don't feel good!" for some odd reason this peeves me. Almost as badly as people who don't use thier blinkers that come with the vehicle they drive (imagine that!).

I also thought of buying one of these and placing it in front of me when someone starts to do it....

However, something has happened to me this week that has changed my tune a bit and I know I'm not alone here with this sudden enigma....

Yes, I have allergies. I have only had them about 3 times in my 25 years of living. 3 agonizing bouts of sneezing, watery eyes, congested one minute, faucet running nose the next, scratchy throat, irritating, suffering!!!

Evan is used to them and has his fathers family to blame, Avery as well but both have Rx to control them. Me? Not so much. Benadryl puts me in a coma, sudafed does nothing and claritin makes we restless.

I'm a whiner.

Evan pointed this out earlier this week when I was yet again complaining about how my head was about to explode from the pressure and how my body ached all over and I hated my voice and wah wah wah. I stood there in shocked speechlessness as he mimicked me and I had no way to deny it.

I was whining. Me? Queen of the "Stop Whining, it's annoying!".

I was ashamed. I also kept whining. HA. Until I got a hot bath, tylenol and a good swig of dayquil (only option I hadn't tried in our bathroom cabinet). I can truly sympathize with the other people who deal with allergies on a regular basis, how do you survive this? It's ridiculous!!!

No Wonder so many people are fighting them this season. They had on the news wed. how in Atlanta scientist do daily air tests for pollen, a high reading is anything over 248. For that day alone in one cubic feet they had a reading of 5,476 that's over 200% more than normal!!!! They also showed a video clip from Jackson Mississippi (sp?) where it looked like a dust storm was blowing by but it was all POLLEN!

Yikes. No Thank You.

So to all my fellow suffering friends, I apologize for being so critical and harsh while you merely tried to have sympathy for being so miserable. I am now a comrade fighting the good fight against these horrible's hoping we both come out alive with our noses intact.

He is Risen! Rejoice!

Here we go, as pictures you requested.

*Therese- Her skit never survived the first wash cycle last month, it shrunk (a first for me!) and now fits her moo cow :( *

What I am currently reading.(Yes, I find time to read)

What I am working on- Pink fabric is Averys curtains, the rest is burp rags I am making for my niece who is due in June along with a crib toy holder. Works in progress, I haven't been sewing too long so we shall see, I love it though!

Childhood Relic- My first Teddy Bear, his name is Teddy Rucksle and he has been patched up a number of times. Avery now claims him.

Something Texan.  :)

Umbrellas, take your pick.

What I had for dinner last night, Taco Bueno and sweet leaf sweet tea (new addiction) and this was split between Evan, myself and Avery.

I'm adding one more to since tomorrow is Easter

These are the 2 dresses we have narrowed down for church. My friend val sent us the white and polka dot one, it's 24months and does fit Avery but is a little baggy. The blue one we found at The Childrens Place for only 10$!!! and we love because Yellow seems to be Averys color.  Not sure which one to go with, we bought 5 dresses and I ended up returning them the next day, Evan and I are too picky for her HAHA.

and with that, I'll end with my favorite Hymnal which is very fitting for Easter.
Blessings and LOVE.

He Lives

I serve a risen Saviour; He's in the world today.

I know that He is living, whatever men may say.

I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,

And just the time I need Him He's always near.

He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!

He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.

He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!

You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.

In all the world around me I see His loving care,

And though my heart grows weary I never will despair.

I know that He is leading, thro' all the stormy blast;

The day of His appearing will come at last.

Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian! Lift up your voice and sing

Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!

The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find,

None other is so loving, so good and kind.
